As a Sub System Technical Lead/ Project Chief, I manage the full lifecycle of closures development from concept through serial production for serial life & future Stellantis vehicle programs. I collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure systems meet performance, cost, weight, timing, and quality objectives. My role includes overseeing supplier coordination, review & approve APQP, requirements change management, and technical issue resolution, as well as supporting concept development, validation, and launch activities. Additionally, I conduct thorough root cause analysis on warranty return parts and field failures in partnership with Service Engineering, supplier teams, and test labs, ensuring continuous quality improvement. I also provide hands-on support during production ramp-up, ensuring accurate vehicle configuration through assembly and service phases.Additional responsibility: In addition to my Sub System Technical Lead/PC role, I support engineering changes and resolve production challenges for ongoing Liftgate and Swing Gate production for Chrysler Pacifica & Jeep Wrangler. I also collaborate with global stakeholders on warranty root cause analysis and implement clean points at plants to ensure continuous improvement in Liftgate and Swing Gate operations

Develop lightweight rear closure systems (Manual & Powered Liftgate, Swing gates, and Flipper glass systems)Lead product testing and homologation submissions, ensuring safety and compliance requirements were met.Conducted thorough root cause analysis on Warranty Return Parts and field failures in collaboration with Service Engineering, Supplier teams, and test labs.

Established foundational Architecture control models and frameworks for attribute teams, fostering a structured development environment. Played a key role in adopting reductive design principles, aiming for manufacturing efficiency, a lean supply chain, and high cross-platform component usage for cost efficiency. Responsible for Design Integrity checks, integrating High voltage battery systems (LFP & NMC Chemistry), ePT (PDU & SDU) Integration, and High & Low Voltage wiring system for Ford/ Lincoln's next generation EV Architecture. Implementing CAE processes and team collaboration to enable an effective Product Development process by partnering with Product Development Engineers, Attribute Engineers and Program Engineers throughout the vehicle development process.

Lead the creation of Finite element model & Analysis of the Closures for static stiffness, Slam durability & Over Slam assessments. SPOC for all details pertaining to Liftgate, Hood & Fender for NVH, Safety CAE Leads & Offshore team.Complete ownership of the performance of Closures & closure attachment panels on Body from durability standpoint.
