Lisa Mannion, aka Ukulady Lisa, is an army veteran, singer-songwriter, artist, music lesson teacher, and soon to be art therapist. She was a U.S. Sergeant and paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division as well as a vocalist for the army chorus. Lisa has been fortunate enough to perform nationwide and overseas in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Sainte-Mere-Eglise, France (75th D-DAY Anniversary), Walt Disney, Daytona 500, etc.She's glad to be back home in “Sweet Home Chicago,” showcasing her original music while entertaining audiences with a mix of blues, rock, and folk music. Additionally, she teaches group ukulele lessons to her Chicagoland community as well as with military afflicted organizations such as Wounded Warrior Project and At Ease.Lisa is a strong advocate for veteran's mental health and music education.
