Develop and Design application and test circuits and for RF Power transistors and MMIC based on GAN (Gallium nitride technology). The circuits is developed to show world class performance of the GAN devices towards applications such WIMAX, General purpose Broadband Performance and other special applications.The work includes detailed RF –simulations from the DIE or MMIC to the package parasitics to the final applicaton circuit design.The work also include testing and verifications of the designs before they get hand off to volume productions.

Developed power amplifiers for radio base stations GSM (EDGE) frequency range 869 MHz up to 2 GHz with output power up to 50 - 100 W.Managed cost reduction program resulting in more than $15 million in savings. Led feasibility study of power amplifier for a new platform program.Designed specification, simulation, and implementation of TRX-unit and PA-module level (specification based on ETSI and other internal guidelines).Focused on tight cost control, high performance, short time to market, and suitability for mass production. Involved in supplier selection and qualification to meet technical and quality standards.

Worked on the Receiver multicoupler for the Cellular system. Design work included LNA filter and power dividers.  Designed new power divider for use in an RMC supplied for Nortel and helped slash costs by more than 50 % eliminating all previous production tuning of the divider. Design was state of the art in terms of manufacturability.

In the R&D department for radio base station components, work included design verification and testing of filter combiner systems and directional couplers. Specialized in design of resonators and phasing harness for combiner system. Led design efforts for the first Waveguide resonator combiner for Lucent Technologies PCS (TDMA) base station, which generated more than $50 million in orders. This project was accomplished under very tight deadlines and budget restraints. Redesigned the current ¼ resonator which was one of the key factors in the decision of Mcaw cooperation (now AT&T wireless) selection of Auto tune combiner for their AMPS cellular system. This project generated more than $40 million in orders with an excellent profit margin. Designed the first prototype of ceramic AMPS and PCS ceramic resonators.
