Business Manager at Tyréns.Ulf is an urban and rural development engineer who specialises in environmental issues. At Tyréns he he has been Businenss Developer for our northern region, which consists of about 350 people. He is also a member of the northern management group and the head of Marketing and Development in the Environmental Department. Ulf is certified environmental audit manager no 063 (in Sweden) in accordance with ISO 19 011 and he has 20 years of experience from working as the project manager in complex industrial and environmental projects as well as the project manager and performer of small environmental projects. In 2002 he initiated Martin Bergwall’s dissertation project and become the link between it and Tyréns’ consultancy business, a project that has already been used on a garden centre and Forslunda water catchment. Ulf has started and carried out several similar FoU-projects here at Tyréns, the most recent being a dissertation project concerning at the EIA Centre at the Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences (it was a five-year project). He is one of the best in his field at the Northern Centre for Soil Remediation, where he is – among other things – the project manager of a development project that deals with new methods for soil remediation. He was previously employed as the Head of the Environmental Department by the VAB Group during a few years in the 1990s, and after that he initiated and built KM’s environmental branch in the northern regions of Sweden during the years 1998-2000. Other than working at Tyréns he also teaches and develops study material for certifying classes in the proper procedures for taking samples of contaminated soil and ground water.
