Today, Ulf concentrates his time on his long-time passion for investing and investment research. He successfully utilizes the value investing approach, finding undervalued companies through fundamental analysis and buying them at a discount compared to the intrinsic value. He is also involved in real estate investments through buying and upgrading properties in the retail and commercial markets. Ulf’s background is in agriculture, real estate and finance/investing. He owned and operated a successful mid-size grain farm in central Alberta. Later, he provided strategy and financial consulting to farm businesses while working with Agri Trend and the Power Farm Program. He still maintains a strong interest in agriculture, especially in Controlled Environment Agriculture such as Hydroponics, Aeroponics and Greenhouses. Ulf is a State-Examined Agricultural Manager of Arable Farming. Further, he has his Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge with distinction and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary.
