This solution significantly increased the security of VPN authentication, particularly for dial-up connections.Delivered as a subscription service, Fedlogin seamlessly integrated with existing customer infrastructure without requiring firewall replacements. Authentication was handled through standardized RADIUS mechanisms, ensuring compatibility and streamlined integration.The concept for Fedlogin originated from customer demand within S2, where a need for enhanced data protection emerged, particularly with concerns around static password vulnerabilities.Despite securing initial external funding to support market entry, Fedlogin ultimately did not achieve the necessary customer volume to sustain growth.I conceived the original idea of offering digital security locks as a subscription service, performed comprehensive market analysis, and selected and managed the London-based technical platform that supported Fedlogin's operations.

Before the iPhone and App Store era, mobile content distribution and payment processes presented significant usability challenges for consumers.Softcell was a software platform designed to bridge this gap, connecting mobile content providers with consumers by merging the familiar desktop web experience with the then-emerging mobile content market.To support a strategic marketing expansion, Softcell pursued external funding, though the necessary capital was ultimately not secured.In my role at Softcell, I crafted the usability narratives and led the development of the Java EE-based platform. Additionally, I authored the primary business plan and engaged with numerous venture capital firms alongside my co-founder to explore funding opportunities.
