Consulting and workplace training development for small businesses with less than 50 employees, particularly related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness matters. Developing training materials and monthly facilitation seminars for clients either in person or via a virtual platform. Data collection and assessment of client employee/stakeholder growth and perspective shifting in relation to DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusiveness) at the start of a contract, midway through, and at the end of the contract window.

As Director of Network Learning & Leadership, I was responsible for providing both centrally-created and regionally-created DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusiveness) and CRP (culturally relevant pedagogy, developed by Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings) trainings to approximately 120 first and second-year teachers, most of whom where recent college graduates, and were teaching within the Phoenix AZ area. I led a team of 8-10 part-time "master teachers" who created and led their own workshops that were aligned to Teach For America's DEI principles and Dr. Ladson-Billing's CRP pillars (academic achievement, cultural competence, sociopolitical consciousness). As part of each quarterly workshop, I developed a rigorous 1.5-2hr long DEI session that went through 3-4 rounds of feedback cycles by my team at Teach for America Phoenix. The final session included minute by minute time stamps, a full (suggested) script, facilitator notes (including ways to adjust if time was shortened or if the the audience was smaller or larger than intended, as well as ways to meet virtual needs if the session was presented via Zoom). Feedback from participants was paramount in this role and data collection and analysis ensured that workshops both 1) met the needs and wants of the teachers who attended the professional development and 2) were aligned to Teach for America's organizational goals and it's Theory of Leadership for the type of development that first and second year teachers with an anti-racist DEI mindset should be receiving.

In this role, I manage office operations, all staff engagements, and our regional budgeting processes. I have managed operations for virtual conferencing (using Zoom and additional internet based services), coordinated logistics for an ongoing office move, and been responsive to staff needs as we transitioned to remote work in early 2020. As the Phoenix region's budget manager, I have stewarded our region on a path of financial stability during the pandemic, ensuring that our non-payroll budget forecasting process is favorable while still providing opportunities for staff development and providing resources for my teammates to be successful while working from home. I have had the opportunity to work cross functionally within Teach for America, allowing me to engage deeply within our organizational systems and serve as an advocate for staff members in my region. During my time on staff, I have also led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness (DEI) facilitation to first and second year teachers, both in region and nationally. As part of my DEI work, I was on a national team that developed the scope and sequence for the organization's first Men of Many Summit - a virtual space for folx throughout the country to come into community and share vulnerably about their personal and professional work.

Leading the 8th grade teaching team and teaching Social Studies and Structured English Immersion at Empower College Prep, a public charter school in Phoenix, Arizona. Working directly with over 90 8th graders and their families. Serving as the Student Government sponsor and working with students on increasing literacy through the use of Socratic Discussion and Project Based Learning.

ASU Preparatory Academy South Phoenix High School is one of the newest additions to the ASU Preparatory Network. Previously Phoenix Collegiate Academy (PCA) High School, the school serves primarily underrepresented students. Currently I am teaching World History and Geography, but have also taught AP European History. I am sponsoring the Gay-Straight Alliance as well as Yearbook and Journalism.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools MDCPS is the 4th largest school district in the United States. During my time in Miami-Dade, I served approximately 190 students in 11th grade U.S. History and AP Human Geography at Homestead Senior High School, in the southern part of Miami-Dade County. Additionally served as the Class of 2017 and Gay-Straight Alliance sponsor. Homestead Senior is a Title I school, where approximately 90 percent of the students are on free or reduced lunch. Much like Miami-Dade County, the student population at Homestead Senior prides itself on being culturally diverse and inclusive.

As an Instructional Grader, I assist three professors in the School of Transborder Studies at Arizona State University. My primary responsibility is the grading of classroom assignments through the use of rubrics provided by the professors and inputting student grades into the Blackboard Grade Center. Additional responsibilities include scanning and copying, formatting documents, assisting in proctoring exams, and providing course materials in the absence of a professor.

The Administrative & Events Coordinators at Choice Hotels is responsible for successfully planning and executing corporate gatherings at the Choice Hotels corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona. The Administrative & Events Coordinator is responsible for setting up rooms, providing beverages and snacks, arranging catering needs, teleconferencing and sound requirements (if needed), and other duties as assigned. As a member of the Talent Development team, the Administrative & Events Coordinator is often assigned to create surveys and follow up with company associates regarding their experiences at training sessions that the associates have attended. Additionally, the Administrative and Events Coordinator is entrusted with the compilation of sensitive information which the Talent Development team uses to enhance their company-wide training sessions.

Legislative Interns at the Office of the Arizona Secretary of State serve as liasions between that office and the Arizona legislature. Legislative Interns are required to successfully identify and track any legislation introduced that may impact any of the divisions within the Secretary of State's office, particularly the Elections Services division. As part of bill tracking, Legislative Interns must attend committee and caucus meetings at the legislature and present reports from those meetings to division Directors. During election years, Legislative Interns assist with the candidate filing and with ballot testing processes. Interns are expected to complete a minimum workload of 40 hours per week during the legislative session.

Building community in the residential halls of Barrett, the Honors College. Last year I was fortunate to work with incoming freshmen and help them transition into the university experience from high school. This year, I am mostly working with upperclassmen residents and am a point of contact if they are having any issues in the residence halls. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to planning monthly programs for residents, being on-call on nights and weekends, writing conduct reports, and attending training sessions every semester on how to provide the best service to residents.

As Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senator, I was appointed to represent the students of Barrett, the Honors College in the ASU USG Senate. During my time as senator, I served as a member of the Appropriations Committee, which works on providing university funding to on-campus organizations. In addition to attending committee and general senate meetings I constantly met with constituents and collaborated with other undergraduate senators to work on legislation that addressed the needs of students. Senators also work closely with the Executive branch of USG in providing outreach to the student body population.

Surveying households in the city of Phoenix as part of the "Energize Phoenix" program through APS and ASU. Neighborhoods surveyed were along the downtown light-rail corridor. Communicating mostly in English, although Spanish was often required. Residents surveyed were explained potential benefits they could receive through participation with the "Energize Phoenix" program, including energy-saving upgrades to their homes.
