About Ulises Castillo

Experienced CEO and CXO with a demonstrated history of working in IT and cybersecurity industry. Entrepreneur, speaker, professor and neuroscience enthusiast. Strong business development professional skilled in technical aspects of cybersecurity, IT (mainly complex architectures) and soft and human aspects (negotiation, communication, leadership, critical and creative thinking).Found his first IT company back in 1980 (Comper S.A., pioneer in LANs and Cliente-Server solutions), then Grupo Scanda in 1995 (being the CTO of the group and the CEO of Omniscope, leaders in Network and Systems Remote Management) and Scitum in 1998 (being the CEO for the first 21 year and then focused on the evolution of the company). I am in the process of founding two new companies:I. A company dedicated to improve IT continuity and resiliency (and reducing complexity) taking advantage of different tools and technologies (including Gen-AI and AI-Ops), frameworks (ITIL, Chaos Engineering, etc) and people (training non-very typical roles like cross-architects, troubleshooters et al.) II. A Research Lab focused in finding and developing better tools to assess and train our people taking advantage of neurosciences, modern psychology, IT and AI ....Expect more news over the following months ....
