About Uli Wehr

Uli is an IT executive with the talent of building international teams by creating shared vision and values. He developed his technical skill set and business acumen in Germany and the US, holding passports from both countries. His international background and experience with globally operating manufacturers of electronics were an advantage when he took the lead in building the IT organization for a joint venture between the electronics companies Qualcomm and TDK in 2015. The carve-out from TDK, creating the JV, and the following integration of the JV into Qualcomm was completed with Qualcomm acquiring 100% of the shares in September 2019. Uli is now reporting to the CIO of Qualcomm and leading the digitalization of manufacturing in Europe and Asia. He has proven experience in building and operating international IT organizations, besides delivering large and complex IT programs and projects.
