JOURNALISTIC PROFILEAs a journalist with more than 30 years of experience, I possess a lot of as well specific and more broad competences – in knowledge, in journalistic genres – different types of media and platforms. I have worked as a journalist (to print and net) as well as an editor, sub-editor and communication-adviser. As an editor (both permanently employed and as freelancer) I have cooperated closely with academics, freelancers, graphics, photographers, marketing-persons and scientists. The last couple of years I have used a lot of time on courses of long duration, in order to be professionally updated on the journalistic use of the “new” social media: and learn, professionally, to take photos, shoot video – edit all in adobe Photoshop and Final Cut X Pro - and upload to the net. I am also able to write and present text/photos on a webpage in Wordpress – which is quite another way than to print.Resently I spent 1,5 month on a course doing "Strategic communication in practise" in september 2014 - and using the new skills on a consultant assignment and in october 2014 a course in project magagement. I spend a lot of time improving my English, especially the written “edition”. In some of my spare time, I have written several books and have had many big assignments in commission. I work very independently, but am also a good “team player".Special areas of knowledge are: Science, health, environment, tourism/travel and nature.Presently I am looking for a job within journalism, nature, popularscience editing or tourism
