I have been a pelvic physiotherapist for more than 15 years, and I work with patients with all kinds of pelvic floor dysfunctions including anorectal dysfunctions. For my PhD, I performed a randomized controlled study on conservative management for women with pelvic organ prolapse. For my masters, I developed and validated a screening questionnaire for women with anal sphincter ruptures. I have lectured for many years in the postgraduate courses on pelvic floor disorders in Denmark, and it is an important goal for me to promote evidence-based pelvic physiotherapy in Denmark. I have written both scientific articles and made information material for patients and health personnel about pelvic floor disorders. I am the chairwoman of The Danish Society of Urological, Gynecological and Obstetric Physiotherapists" - the special interest group for pelvic physiotherapy in Denmark. I am also active on the board of the Danish Continence Society.Specialties: Pelvic floor disorders, evidence-based physiotherapy, questionnaires
