I am passionate about creating healthy buildings that have research-backed benefits for occupants and owners, as well as sustainable construction practices. I believe that good architecture should enhance both human wellbeing and their skills and abilities. The business that I founded has recently been awarded UK Government funding to increase awareness of healthy building practices and innovation. With over 14 years as a project-leading architect in the London and South-East region, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. My educational background in architecture, urban planning, and philosophy, along with a proven track record of winning prestigious academic competitions and scholarships, has prepared me to tackle complex design challenges and bring projects to successful completion. Some of my notable achievements include leading the planning application for the Millbank Tower & Complex (change-of-use) in the City of Westminster, winning the RIBA Bronze Medal in 2004, and receiving the only International Fellowship of 4th year Architecture Masters students at the University of California, Berkeley, USA, in 2006. I also led the Aalto University competition Phase 1 at Allies and Morrison (where we were shortlisted as the favourite from over 200 contenders) and the Helsinki South Harbour competition (where we received the shared first prize).I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work for some of the UK's top design-led architecture firms and to have seen many of my projects receive awards and widespread publication in magazines such as AJ, C3 Korea, Wallpaper, Financial Times, and Building Design.
