After having spent more than 6 years working in various finance and client service positions in corporate environment, I decided to follow my passion: teaching languages. At the beginning of 2020 I set up my own private language school, NORENG, where I teach both Norwegian and English. Later that year I began to work at Tischner European University, where I teach the same subjects. Leaving corporate coincided with the beginning of the pandemic, but being the flexible person that I am, I quickly adjusted to the new reality of distance learning and I led all my courses on-line. Now we are slowly coming back to classrooms, where I can work with my students face to face, which is what I enjoy the most about this profession.Whereas my favourite elements of teaching are listening comprehension and grammar, at the same time I make use of my previous experience in corporate when teaching courses based on finance and business langauge.
