After graduating from the University of Pretoria in 2010, Ulrich joinedAveng Grinaker-LTA as Site Engineer where he gained experience inconstruction. He was seconded to ARQ’s bridge department in June 2011to obtain design experience and joined ARQ as a fulltime employee in June2012 where he gained extensive experience in bridge design andconstruction supervision of highway structure. His key experience is asfollow:- Development of highway structural designs from conceptual toconstruction stages- Design, assessment and strengthening of bridge structures- Construction supervision of highway and related structures- Contract management and administration- Project management- Hydrology and hydraulics for Bridges and Major culverts
