Ulrich is an entrepreneur and contract engineer for various industries.Apart from this, he is producing ans distributing bespoke furniture under his brand MERZ MÖBEL.Proir to this, he pushed the boundaries for a local tier1 automotive player as process manager, by implementing new methods, that yielded both, 200+% of cost reduction and increased quality.Prior to this, he led the R&D department of Häfele Berlin, a mass producer which is supplying the furniture industry with plastic and zinc components. Ulrich impelled the unit`s performance by implementing lean and agile methods.Prior to this, he worked in Wolfsburg for the automotive industry.Ulrich played major roles in projects that have been awarded with the Automotive Brand Contest honor.In his prior entrepreneurial experience he contributed to numerous of architecture- and exhibition-projects in his role as a design and engineering expert. Among his clients were Coordination, Archimedes Solutions, YellowTwo and KEC Consultants.The efficiency drivers of Ulrich`s performance are a sound appreciation of customer needs, a goal oriented approach and the ability to translate complex and competing requirements into smart solutions. His expertise builds on consolidated knowledge of innovative technologies and digital manufacturing processes including programming of algorithm-based applications.In April 2018, Ulrich earned the degree ‘Master of Business Administration’ (MBA) with honors from the European business school ESMT.
