Formerly President and CEO of Telos Governance Advisers, advancing good governance in sustainable economic and social development; advising businesses, governments, multilaterals, and not-for-profits on issues of governance, sustainable development, corruption, compliance, rule of law and human rights.In April 2018 I was appointed as Director of the Business and Rule of Law Program at the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law. In September 2017 I was appointed as Special Advisor to the UN Global Compact on Anti-Corruption and Global Governance. In 2016 I was recognized by the UN Global Compact as one of ten global SDG Pioneers for my work to advance progress with Sustainable Development Goal 16's elements of governance, rule of law, anti-corruption, and peace and security.I am a "highly recommended" lawyer for governance by Legal 500; chair the New York City Bar Association's Task Force on Good Governance and the UN Secretary-General Selection and serve in leadership roles in a variety of international legal forums; and speak and publish frequently on issues of governance, rule of law, sustainability, and development.Until 2017I was a senior attorney at Linklaters, where I helped to create the firm's Tier 1 International Governance and Development Practices, and led teams on a wide range of governance matters, including in connection with the annual Advancing Good Governance in International Development seminar.
