CurrentLead the accounting staff efforts to ensure accurate and timely financial processes and controls including payroll, corporate and management reporting and support Supervise and lead all accounting staff & functions of monthend closing and financial reporting.Supervise and lead payroll and HR department including Benefits, hiring, terminations and other payroll and HR related issues such restructuring to increase business productivity and efficiency. Ensures adequate internal controls are maintained to safeguard company assets and provide accurate financial records, supports and participates in audts, ensuring agreed-to audit recommendations are implementedProvides timely and accurate financial information, reporting and counsel to President and Coporate CFO on a scheduled and ad-hoc basisLead the annual budget process and monthly and quarterly forecasting Enforce adequacy of business transactions and maintain professional relationships with external parties as required (e.g., tax authorities, Insurance Companies, Banks, Internal and External customers & vendors).Provides financial information for business leader(s) to make sound business decisions (e.g. product profitability, customer profitability, capital and investment decisions).Lead the financial and administrative integration with corporate reporting and controls as well as any external agencies (e.g. treasury, tax, global sourcing, payroll information systems and financial reporting)Ensures timely and accurate payroll processing in partnership with AdministaffImplemented and wrote Sox processes to maintain SOX complianceEnsures current data is entered and accurate on all financial systems as requiredDrives continuous improvement and standardization in the finance area and supports efforts in other functional areas as needed.
