Monitored quality specifications for 5 .5 million tons of raw material, while implementing cost effective and techno commercial systems for Total Quality ManagementConducted plant’s applicability, laboratory feasibility study on coke fines, Sinter and Pellets to initiate its production. Decreased fines generation of coke by 15%, through best practices on coke handling. Played a major role in recovering steel by performing a study along with IIT Powai on one of the oldest Slag dump yard, registered a substantial amount of steel coverage.Suggested an generation of fines in LAM coke between vessel discharge at anchorage at India till feeding to Blast Furnace after a detailed study on “ Coke Degradation”.Established root cause of coke fines generation, formulation of corrective actions and the commercial implications to business because of such coke fines generation.

• Achieved the ‘Zero Accident Target’ of Project and Operations.• Achieved direct reduction in fines generation and Quality deterioration at various stages by recommending innovative ‘Operations Refinement Techniques’ for enhancing Net Operating Profits of clients.• Narrowed down the loss handling for high valued imported Alumina used for Aluminium metal extraction from 2% to 0.2% as against acceptable tolerance of 0.5%.• Reviewed the Coal Testing and Inspection protocols to arrive at the root cause for deviations in GCV (Gross Calorific Value), TM(Total Moisture) and the Quantity between Coal loading mines and Thermal Power plant receipts thus saved Net Exchequer worth millions to a Thermal Energy Major.• Narrowed the gap between the loading port and discharge port results thus avoided claims and penalty for the high value commodity Ferro Alloys.
