As a Senior Engineer, I am responsible to execute projects of 132kV and 220kV Underground and Overhead Transmission Lines as part of $400 Million TP1000 project by K-Electric.• Supervision of 2500, 1200 and 800 sq mm XLPE cable pulling, jointing, termination and related activities.• Submission of method statements, schedule & as-built drawing to KE.• Coordination with sub-contractors, client (Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution) and owner (KE).• Resolution of the site issues & discrepancies with design team occurred due to city’s existing underground utilities (sewerage, gas, water pipelines etc.).• Participation in daily/weekly /monthly progress review meetings with client and owner and submission of project reports.• Supervision of Testing and commissioning of 132 & 220kV Overhead & Underground Transmission line.• Supervision of following Civil works with respect to Underground Cables: Excavation for trench, Backfilling & Compaction of trench along with Procter and FDT Tests, Construction of RCC Road Crossings inside and outside sub-station, Construction of RCC Cable Joint Bays along with Cover Slabs and Construction of RCC link box housings.• Supervision of pilling and foundation work of 220kV Poles/Tower for Overhead Transmission line including Pile Integrity Test.• Inspection of Pile Cage and Pile Cap Reinforcement, supervision of pile boring by using straight rotary and percussion method.In this duration, successfully executed following projects:1. 220kV 2500sq mm XLPE cable from KDA to Gulshan Grid stations (84km cable length)2. 132kV 1200sq mm XLPE cable from Baldia to Valika Grid Stations (39km cable length)3. 132kV Overhead & Underground Loop-In/Out Valika-Liaquatabad Circuit for Shadman Town Grid Stations (O/H Route Length: 2.13km & U/G Route Length: 1.12km)4 220kV New Grid to Power Plant (O/H Route Length: 37.8km)5. 132kV 800sq. mm XLPE cable from Lyari to Mauripur Grid Stations (7.5km cable length)
