My name is Muhammad Umair. I belong to Karachi, Pakistan. I have completed my bachelor of engineering degree in major of Chemical Engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology. During this four-year journey, I have been taught different courses according to the technical and management requirements of the field. That also includes working with different engineering and computational tools. I have experience of working with Aspen HYSYS, MATLAB, Aspen Plus, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Origin), etc. For my Final Year Design Project (FYDP) I was working on the “Comparison Of Co-Pyrolytic and Pyrolytic Product Blends obtained from Waste Cooking & Lubricating Oil”. This whole project was purely based on the concept of converting waste material into valuable fuel and we were aiming to produce Biofuel or Diesel Like fuel with optimized properties. Having low cost of production and being able enough to produce and big amount of energy that can be used to perform different functions. Apart from studies in those four years of studying at school I also took part in different Extra-Curricular activities and I was elected as a General Secretary of the American Institute for Chemical Engineers (AIChE’s NED UET Student Chapter) and served the society for the tenure of 2021-22 till graduated. This role not only gave me leadership experience but also enhances my interpersonal and management skills. I also have been a part of other societies and NGOs as well and served them while I was pursuing my bachelor's degree and in my high school days. My working experience comprises of an Internship experience in a process designing firm named Zishan Engineers Ltd. I worked there as a Process Design Intern. While working there I learned a lot about the field of design engineering as a chemical engineer. Right now I am seeking a responsible position in a dynamic, professional, and competitive environment that provides me with opportunities to enrich my knowledge and technical skills while also contributing towards the achievements of organizational goals and targets.
