• Establishes source of supply, negotiates price, delivery, and other necessary commitments based upon authorized requisition to maintain consistency with the Program/Requisitioning by following SOP’s.• Provides guidance and information to requester that includes communication of procurement actions and assist with special or complex/technical requirements.• Evaluates bids, select and recommend suppliers based on quality, delivery dates, prices and services.• Reviews purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers for routine and complex purchases.• Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, and losses, return of materials, over-shipments, and cancellations.• Maintain procedures to Follow-up Purchase Order to ensure timely delivery of every shipment as per schedule.• Strong Knowledge of Shipping docs/certs, INCO-TERM, SC fundamentals with analytical & evaluation skills.• Coordinate with Finance regarding financial activities such as payments, receipts, invoices and insurance issues.• Ensure timely delivery to requesting dept after GRN and receiving Quality Inspection done for every shipment. • Provide status reports to management on overall purchase of material periodically or whenever requires.• Negotiates price, quality and services.• Supports the goals and objectives of the company as a part of a work group or team member.• Provides pricing in support of Business Development efforts.
