Hi! My name is Uma Iyer and I am pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering with specializations in Aerospace Engineering and Energy & Environmental Engineering at UC Irvine. I have a strong passion for exploring the intersection of my interests in environmental science/health and aerospace to create sustainably designed spacecraft and aviation technologies! My goal is to pursue a career that highlights designing, prototyping, and fabricating technologies with an emphasis on material science, systems design, and manufacturing and automation technology in an innovative space setting.
