A snapshot of my responsibilities at the World Bank:Supporting the Center Manager's Office, VPUs at Chennai office, and other institutional stakeholders in planning, design, and implementation of strategies to promote effective communication with their respective audiences.Participating in designing, writing, researching, producing, and disseminating communications products for the WBG Chennai office such as brochures, Q&As, presentations, briefing notes, online content, speeches, email messages, internal news stories, brochures, logos, talking points, etc.Coordinating scheduling, logistics, briefings, and end-to-end management of Chennai office events (e.g., executive missions, webinars, seminars, town hall meetings, etc.) involving external and/or internal audiences. Few such events include WFA/Controllers’ Knowledge Forum, Virtual knowledge sessions/webinars, and Chennai office town halls for the Center Manager and visiting management officials such as MDCFO, VPs, Directors, and other officials.Providing photo and video coverage of various events and senior management visits.Assisting with, and in some cases, leading the implementation of communications campaigns.Liaising with industry stakeholders and ensuring that communication channels meet the requirements.Keeping abreast of current developments and disseminating them to improve staff awareness.

At FLSmidth, I was a part of a core communications team and worked closely with the senior management and responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing internal communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. I played a key role in monitoring and managing FLSmidth’s online reputation and social media channels to maximize brand awareness. I also played a major role in managing and optimizing the external website for increased search engine and user visibility.

At AstroVed, I was tasked with online content management for the organization's e-commerce based website, partner sites, micro sites and blog. I was also the editor-in-chief of digital marketing newsletters and landing pages. I had drafted marketing textual content for online banner ads, Google Adwords ads and landing pages. Carrying out a thorough quality check of the landing pages before and after launch was also a major part of my job responsibility. On the corporate communication front, I was successful in developing and implementing internal communications programs in close coordination with HR and senior leadership for elevating employee engagement levels and maintaining brand loyalty. I also facilitated implementing communication programs for other internal groups too.

At 88db.com, my key responsibility was to produce marketing communication content for the classified website, Google Adwords campaigns, brochures, leaflets and SMS campaigns. I was also drafting textual content for marketing newsletters, press releases and for website banners. I was working closely with HR and assisted them in carrying out employee engagement activities and crafting communication messages. A major highlight was my preparing of the employee manual within a period of 3 months. I was also diligently managing a vibrant team of Content developers and Proof readers.

At RR Donnelley, I was a part of Yellow pages graphic designing team where I was tasked with ensuring the ads were created by graphic designers according to customer specified protocol. Also, proof reading and copy editing the textual content of the products and services or any special offerings was a major part of my job responsibility.
