Here I was given the challenge to drive Marketing and strategy activities for India Region comprising of India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri-Lanka for the High voltage Transmission business from 66kV - 1200kV. Significant challenge was to shift business positioning from conventional T&D portfolio to a contemporary, leading Smart T&D player in the region. Developing actions for Key Accounts, Customers, emerging market technologies to leverage on market opportunities. I also led the business advocacy strategy to unlock new market opportunities and help businesses develop counter competition actions. I was able to strongly position Grid Digital portfolio across our Customer base working with GE Digital.I also worked extensively with the Finance teams for the Institutional Investment program to position the business with Investors and we successfully raised substantial capital to enable capital investment in the business.As Marketing Head contributing to Quarterly Board and Annual Investor meetings, I extensively worked with eminent Board members and Industry veterans understanding the Board & Investor community relations and impact on stock market valuation of the company.Two successful years into business, I was entrusted the challenge to lead the GE-ALSTOM acquisition process for India - building the complex deal rationale and case to Competition Commission of India and shaping a post acquisition growth route map for combined business portfolio We successfully achieved clearance for the acquisition process in Phase I with CCI, a feat achieved in select regions globally. -
