After passing an assessment and called for an interview, I arrived at the site only to receive an email informing me that it was a system glitch that had invalidated my application. This setback, though frustrating, ignited a profound determination within me to understand the intricacies of data misconfiguration and how such vulnerabilities arise in systems. This passion led me to dive into online courses focusing on web application attacks and defenses, where I honed my skills and work in the application security team in identifying vulnerabilities and understanding the hacker's perspective. Understanding the gap of unemployment for both interns and job seekers in Nigeria and Africa, I channeled my drive into creating "Job Delve," an innovative online platform of over 3,000 on WhatsApp designed to support job seekers with engaging content and webinars.Through my journey of continuous learning, I realized how individuals in tech (cybersecurity) face challenges in their learning paths and struggle to find value in professional certifications. As the saying goes, “It’s easy to walk alone, but hard to soar alone - you need momentum.”This realization inspired me to establish the Cyber Odyssey Community. Our community of over 100 individuals is a vibrant and supportive network for cybersecurity enthusiasts, where we unite to learn, grow, and expand our knowledge and skills in this ever evolving field.
