Support with field tests and performance follow up of rotary percussive hammers and drill bits in mines, quarries and geo-thermal environments.Provide operational/technical advice to engineers/drillers in the field and offer continued support through regular contact.Conduct site visits to customers across Europe & Africa in order to carry out maintenance/repairs, but also investigate pre-mature failure of products.Post field visits to prepare technical reports on findings in order to provide customers with an in-depth understanding, but also solutions to problems they may experience in the field. These reports also aid with the continuous improvements of products.During field trips gather important market intelligence and competitor activities to maximise opportunity for the business, but to also to stay update with current trends in the industry. Assemble and testing of prototypes hammers and bits whilst working closely with the R&D team prior to release of product to the market. Receive, register and prepare samples for analysis products with abnormal behaviour/pre-mature failures. Carry out a thorough failure analysis including metallurgy and mechanical tests in order to determine cause before preparing a report for the customer with an explanation of our findings. These reports offer recommendations on operational changes which can improve the lifetime and condition of the products alongside continued support from Drillco engineers. Work closely with trusted manufactures in the United Kingdom right through the production of smaller components of the hammers and drill bits. Once products have been dispatched and arrive at our storage facility, to carry out quality analysis. In-depth quality analysis including, inspecting surface finish off product, mechanical tests to explore toughness of material, metallurgy in order to view result of the heat treatment process.
