Majeeda Umar- Ahmed is a passionate and solution-driven architect with a strong focus on sustainability, I am dedicated to leveraging my skills to make a positive impact, particularly within underserved communities. My academic and professional journey, which includes a Master of Architecture from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has equipped me with a robust skill set in architectural design, project management, and sustainability practices.Over the years, I have honed my abilities through diverse experiences, including roles as a University Teaching Assistant, Archival Research Assistant, and Architectural Designer. Each position has furthered my expertise in sustainable design, data collection, and architectural visualization. I take pride in my ability to develop innovative design concepts, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage projects from inception through to completion.Currently, I am working as an Architectural Designer at Feel Architecture in Accra, Ghana, where I have contributed to various high-impact projects, from housing apartments to vacation homes. I am also actively involved in the Design Lab at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, where I focus on transdisciplinary research and design projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.My enduring commitment to sustainability and my desire to improve quality of life through architecture drives my work.
