Gender norms Learning Agenda (GNLA) research project, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Care Nigeria is employing the Rapid Interview, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as an effective qualitative methodology to gain swift insights on critical issues by helping to identify reference groups for selected norm-shift focus area on the Social norm’s diagnosis research.Key Responsibilities:• Participate fully in training seasons• Facilitates focus group discussion (FGDs) and guide discussion, ensuring all participants have chance to contribute, maintaining respectful and focused environment• Conducts rapid interview with participants to gather detailed data on their experience, perspective, and opinions on the topic of interest (social norms)• Take detailed field notes throughout data collection activities, record observation, non-verbal cues, and additional details that may not be captured in audio recordings of interview or FGD• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

The program support officer (Volunteer) will support the organization effort in achieving better inclusion for women in peace building efforts and civic space, and building community resilience against insecurity and violent extremism in the Northwest* Collaborate with field program officer to develop and implement early warning system that help to mitigate potential conflicts* Ensure data is collected in a timely and accurate manner* Enter data and manage data file and database, and maintain accurate records of all data collection around potential conflicts triggers* Collaborate with Human Rights and Security team to identify data collection needs and develop strategies for data collection* identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in data collection* Maintain confidentiality and security of all data collected* Ensure all the data collection activities are in compliance with Global Right policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards

Project Description:The study is being carried out by Centre for Integrated Health Programs (CIHP), Nigeria, in partnership with London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Itad, which are based in the UK. The study is funded by the Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria. The research is been conducted in some selected Local Government Areas in Jigawa state (Birniwa, Malam Madori, Gwaram, Birnin Kudi, Sule Tankarkar & Garki) it's implementing a quality improvement project (QI) in 30 health care facilities in partnerships with Jhpeigo for malaria control.Keys Responsibilities:Data collection using survey instruction with minimal supervision while adhering to the study protocols, tracks respondents to be interviewed using the information provided and ensure proper screening of respondents to verify the identity of respondents tracked, Attend daily debrief sessions and provide feedback on data collection and survey instruments to improve subsequent surveys, Ensure that data integrity is maintained always and minimize errors in data collection and transmission, Completion of scheduled activities each day in a timely manner including keeping logs of work accomplished interviews, and call backs as assigned by the HFS Lead and Field Coordinator

Project Description:The Peace Action for Rapid and Transformative Nigerian Early Response (PARTNER) Project is a 5-years USAID- funded project that seeks to ensure that Nigerian communities, government, security and civil actor will collaborate to increase the effectiveness, local ownership, and sustainability of an inclusive Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) system for improved violence protection. The above will be achieved when the key stakeholders work together to create and sustain conflict EWER system to foster peace and tolerance in communities and mitigate banditry and criminality in areas currently affected or at risk of violent conflict. A diverse set of key stakeholders will be engaged in community-based effort to promote communication, dispute resolution, dialogue, and advocacy for peace and reconciliation.Key Responsibilities:Get familiar with data collection tools and study protocol, Attend assessment orientation and data collection training, Conduct data collection selected PARTNER sites in Plateau and Kaduna states, Orient and guide Mercy Corps project team on likely sensitivities that could affect the usage of the survey tools within the target communities, Work collaboratively with PARTNER project and Mercy Corps M&E team to ensure successful implementation of the study, Review filled data tools to ensure completion and quality of data, Provide guidance and clarification at data analysis stage regarding collected data as needed, Play a key role in the mobilization of community of respondents for the survey.

Management science for Health (MSH) saves lives and improve health, especially among world poorest and most vulnerable people by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health. As a workshop Assistant my role is to serve as a monitor in the training of Health facility workers and Community Drug Distributor on Seasonal malaria Chemo prevention (SMC), each training occurs over a periods of 2 days period within July 14, 2021 to November 30, 2021 and based in various locations in Katsina stateKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-Administration support:I. Availability of training agenda and training materials for participantsII. Confirm participants in the training are in line with approved selection criteriaIII. Ensure correct documentation on attendance and bank information sheet by the participants, monitors and facilitators2. General Support.I. Training commences in good time as scheduled in the Agenda. Where there is delay, the Workshop Assistant will document reasons for the delayed commencement of daily trainingII. The vendors engaged by the MSH for the activity provide the meals and other requirements for the activity as requestedIII. Submit both soft copies (typed out) and hard copies of attendance sheets and participants bank information details at the end of the training3. Participants Feedbacks: The workshop assistant should ask and obtain feedback on any concerns participants may have in relation to the training, document and collectively resolve issues to ensure a seamless training.

During the data collection phase, I support in interviewing mother's and caregivers on Nutrition and Health practices, food security and Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) practices along with measurement of child and mothers as Interviewer, Additional data Collector and Team Leader.

BORNO STATE MALARIA BASELINE HOUSEHOLD SURVEY & SENSITIZATIONKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-Supervising data collection/administration on community host and various IDPs camp within Borno State, Presentation of analyzed data, Coordinating of information gathering and sharing to feeds into earlier response system, Coordinating the sensitization of various community health and IDPs camps on malaria awareness and prevention , Supervised and coordinate all community health volunteer across the LGAs, facilities and organized community meetings across target communities, support community volunteers and health champion in the implementation of action plan and information gathering and sharing to feeds into earlier response system using the data kit (ODK), Conduct interview and write daily report, records and documents project activities in photograph and video format, facilitates and organized community meeting across targeted community.
