CurrentJul. 2010 – Mar. 2013 Al Jabber Engineering & Contracting L.L.C (U.A.E) Senior Surveyor (KPIZ) Khalifa Port Industrial ZoneThis project is for new seaport development with VIP excess road and internal roads network, parking zones external works including Bridge, Storm water and wastewater networks Quay wall, Landscaping etc. Responsible for close traversing fix the Control points at the visible location for the project. Benchmark shifting & closing with no error. Lead Inspection of all construction activities like excavation work for Utilities, Road, and Blinding concrete for Manholes, form work and Roads. Monitoring of construction activities as per standards and specifications.Lead daily pre pour, post pour inspection and inspection of concrete, asphalt as per Survey Procedures. Maintain Elevation & Coordinates pre pour concrete. Calculation of Horizontal & Vertical Curves. Identify and evaluate quality risks that may have an impact on the project. Develop and administer the Site-Specific Survey Plan Incorporating Company Quality Requirements and all applicable Client rules and regulations.Develop project Survey goals, measures, and communicate progress toward those goals. Initiate Survey process improvements. Evaluate Survey Programs and products of suppliers and subcontractors. Participate in project survey planning and monitor effectiveness. Provide support and guidance for the personal and professional development of personnel. Act as liaison with Consultant in respect to all Survey issues. Maintain daily Survey level books to ensure that record is completed. Keeping a daily log of all the Inspection Requests submitted by the Construction Supervisor. Quarterly Checking Benchmark, Control Points to avoid any error.
