Responsible for Finance & Accounting Function

- Responsible for the Management Reporting including Monthly Service line reporting, Financial Analysisand co-ordination with Internal Audit.- Responsible as Board Secretary for setting meetings and obtaining approvals for capex, opex, annualbudgets, appraise Board about hospital patient volumes, growth under different departments ascompared to targets.- Responsible for Statutory Reporting in accordance with financial reporting framework includingInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS), CompaniesOrdinance 1984 as applicable to NPO’s in Pakistan- Dealing with FBR for Income Tax exemptions for NPO’s and ensure periodic filing of Income Tax returnsincluding tax audits- Responsible for obtaining tax exemptions applicable to the Charitable Hospital for import of medical & surgical equipment’s, also monitor the preparation of monthly statements for Tax Declaration underIncome Tax Ordinance, 2001 and Sales Tax Act, 1990.- Responsible for Treasury and Finance function for cash management, letter of Credit, letter of guarantee, cash projections and reporting. Also involved in co-ordination with banks for optimum utilization of banking facilities to maintain business operating cycle.- Responsible for Hospital projects financial planning, execution, and contract compliance- Planning Hospital operational budget including analysis of budgets with actual results and correctiveactions to remain within approved budget.- Development of In-house Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) - Preparation of complete financial model of each upcoming projects - Lead Purchase/Material Management Departments & planning of CAPEX/OPEX purchases during the Financial year.- Worked out financial model for revenue sharing with consultants & successfully implemented after Board Approval- Legal & statutory compliance of the Hospital with regulatory bodies

Project Implementation/Execution:• Supporting the project manager in planning the whole process of project implementation at the territories• During implementation phase, managing the day to day activities at the territories and ensuring that all activities are being executed according to plan• Coordination with cross functional team for smooth and timely implementationMonitoring, Control & Reporting• Responsible for preparation of SOPs and protocols for smooth execution and coordination with Business Excellence Function for formulation of SOPs• Responsible for timely decision making to resolve issues faced in the field/by the sales & marketing teams through coordination and collaboration

- Conduct audit engagements (assurance and consulting) in accordance to department charter and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. - Leading audit engagements as In-Charge (Audit, COBC, Consulting) with proficiency and due professional care.- Promote Internal Audit Services as an activity that adds value and improve organizations’ operations.- Maintain effective working relations with operating management.Audit Engagements: - Planning- Execution- Reporting - Supervision - Quality Assurance Review of Audit Engagements- Closing audit engagements as per objectives, scope, timelines and budgets.COBC Investigations:- Conduct Independent Investigation of COBC violations within the organization, maintain effective documentation and reporting thereof.- Assist Disciplinary Committee to explain investigation details, as and when required.- Follow up with Ethic officer for timely closing of all pending cases.International Engagements:Coordination with AG/CCI audit teams for local/international assurance and consulting engagements. Work as a team player and assist to close the audit engagements as per objectives, scope, timelines and budgets.

- Responsible for managing and overseeing accounts of Islamabad, New Jersey and Bagh offices.- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.- Advising higher management on optimal utilization of financial structures within the company and proposing financial strategies with emphasis on contractual obligations, financial management, systems and procedures to maximize profit and control cost.- Analyzing cash flow and business performance reports to managing short and long term debts, cash rollover and investment proposals.- Consolidation of domestic and foreign books of accounts.- Financial statements preparation as per requirements of US GAAP’s and International Financial Reporting Standards.- Work with external auditors during audit/review processes.- Manage other staff in the accounts department.- Ensuring corporate taxation and legal compliance.
