I have been part of the government university, a private seed company, development sector on different posts as lecturer, research officer and currently, I am working as Master Agronomist at Better Cotton. During my professional career, I was involved in the teaching of plant breeding, biotechnology, and seed science courses, running crop breeding programs, GMO crops testing, crop DNA fingerprinting, ISO certification, seed supply chain, provision of field-based solutions through research for sustainable production of crops, farm advisory, capacity building of farmers, knowledge management, strategic planning, project implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of different projects. I have completed different projects during my professional career on the cotton seed supply chain, DNA fingerprinting of cotton varieties, genetic and elemental analysis of cotton, ISO 17025 certification and development of an illustration book and field facilitators videos on Better Cotton P&C to develop the capacity of sector stakeholders. At present working on knowledge management of sustainability and Better Cotton, training farmers and other stakeholders, and researching sustainable cotton production to produce cotton better for the environment, society and sector with maximum economic benefits.
