A medium sized Architecture and design firm focusing mainly on residential developments. As a part 1 architectural asisstant I mainly worked on two large residential projects. A 121 unit residential development in Basildon, Kent, and an 84 unit development in Croydon. My responsibilities included:• Developing preliminary designs by use of sketches and physical models made with card, foamboard and styrofoam • Writing and compiling design access reports for planning submission, preparing working drawings and construction documents.• Applying artistic and technical skills to create freehand sketches and colour architectural presentations• Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure compliance with order documentation• Developing & sustaining working relationships with private & public sector partners.
