PLUMgrid was a leading startup in the area of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Security. Our solution enabled customers to build best in class Secure Networks for OpenStack and Containers based clouds. At PLUMgrid, I had the global responsibility for managing both the Pre-Sales Engineering and Customer Support teams. My key responsibilities included:* Hiring, Training and Managing Sales Engineers and Customer Support Engineering team.* Development of Sales Engineering processes such as Demos, Proof of Concepts, and Customer Architecture Blueprints to help drive the pre-sales engagements with customers* Development of post sales processes such as 24 x 7 Customer Support System, Critical Issues Escalation Process* Collaboration with Product Management, Professional Services, Engineering and CTO teams to define and prioritize product direction and roadmap* Maintaining direct relationships with Technical Sales teams at our leading OpenStack Distributions such as Redhat, Mirantis, Canonical, Rackspace

Joined Dell as a result of Force10 Networks acquisition by DellResponsibilities include:- Second line manager of Network Sales Engineer teams covering Dell's Global 500 and Large Enterprise Segments for North America.- Managed a team of 35 members including two Managers, and Senior Network Sales Engineers - Defined and executed the strategy for post acquisition integration of Network Sales Engineering team- Coached the team to develop technical sales strategy throughout the sales cycle- Collaborated with Product Management, CTO, and Engineering teams to define the process and strategy for next generation technologies, products and solutions

* Managing System Engineering team for the Western Region including Rockies and Alaska within the sales organization.* Drive Technical Sales Strategy for Top Tier customers in the region.* Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing, Support, and Channels organization and drive initiatives that help the company develop next generation products, support and services offering, and go to market plans.

* Strategy Development: Lead role in development and execution of Cisco Services Strategy for Cloud Computing and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure market. Established business relationships and alliance with technology vendors, and global system integrators in the Data Center Ecosystem* P&L Responsibility: Delivery Management responsibility for West Coast Enterprise and US Wide Service Provider market. Improved margins by 300% within 6 months of assuming the role. Achieved 30% year-over-year growth for three consecutive years.

Worked with some of Cisco's largest Enterprise and Service Provider customers world wide and helped them design state of the art Data Center Networking infrastructure.
