Dr. Umar Saeed has been a Family Medicine physician for 17 years and has practiced in both Texas and Oklahoma. He is rated one of the top three family medicine physicians in Arlington for the last few years. He was trained at Memorial Hermann Southwest in Houston. He then joined Central Oklahoma Family Medical Center in Konawa, OK as well VVRH and worked both in clinic (urban & rural) and hospital settings. He soon became the medical director of this multi-speciality clinic serving thousands in rural Oklahoma as well as veterans. After few years of that, he switched gears and worked in various Emergency Rooms in Texas hospitals. The idea of Urgent Cares was born when he witnessed day in and day out how much time and resources are wasted when people who don’t need to be in an ER and hospitals end up in an ER/ hospital settings. This not only wastes money but also affects services for patients actually in need of emergency care.In just a few years, Dr. Umar Saeed has become a household name in North Texas because of his ability to revolutionize the urgent care image in patients’ minds. His vision is bringing all services together and treating everyone who walks in like family.
