As people say "You can never stop learning", I hope to learn new skills and knowledge throughout my professional career and personal journey in life. I am a graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting and part-qualified ACCA.I have also acquired the certificate of ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4) and Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (EQ to an undergraduate degree). I am always trying to learn and stay updated with the fast-moving Accounting and Finance world. I have training on QuickBooks Desktop Xero advisor certification and I know how to work on QuickBooks online.I have worked in a Tax firm for two years as an assistant accountant and learned a lot of skills and knowledge. I gained knowledge about income tax and sales tax law and how the tax system works. I gained experience of using Iris and MS Office. This position helped me get a good understanding of MS Excel and how to use formulas for different reasons.After working for two years at a tax firm, I got hired as a Finance and Accounts Executive at a Private Renewable Energy Firm. It was a very exciting experience for me as I solely managed the whole accounting and finance operations of the company. I was the first point of contact for external stakeholders which boosted my confidence and assisted me in becoming a better professional accountant. I am an ambitious person and want to be a part of much bigger and giant organizations.
