He is the State Coordinator of the Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (World Bank-supported) Program called NG-CARES. He coordinates three Government Agencies that are involved in the implementation of the program. These Agencies are the Community and Social Development Agency, the State Fadama Coordination Office, and the State Cash Transfer Unit. He oversees the implementation of seven projects across agricultural and livelihood support, which has recorded more than A Hundred Thousand (100,000) direct beneficiaries. He manages and supervises One Hundred and Sixty-Nine (169) personnel at the State and Local Government level in the Program. He is also the Secretary of the State CARES Steering Committee.

He is the Business Reforms Advisor at the Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency called NASIDA. He is a member of the Management Team of NASIDA and advises the Agency on Policy and Business Reforms to improve the investment climate in the State. He oversees the technical secretariat for the Nasarawa Investment and Economic Advisory Council, which has attracted more than 500 million dollars in two years. He is also a member of the Technical Working Group for the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) in the State.

He was the founding Head of Ease of Doing Business at Governor’s Delivery Unit, which later became Business Reforms at the Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency (NASIDA). He was part of the team that developed the NASIDA bill and the policy thrust of the State called the Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS). He actively contributed towards moving the State ranking from 24th to 4th on business environment (Kingmakers, 2020). He led the streamlining of Government business procedures such as business registration and property registration which attracted companies like Flour Mill of Nigeria, Azman, and Husk Power.

He was the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer at the State Operations and Coordinating Unit called SOCU. He oversaw the M&E activities of the Unit which is primarily the development of the State Social Register (SSR). During his stay at the SOCU, the State Social Register grew from scratch to 1.8 million poor and vulnerable individuals. He most times leads a team called the community-based targeting team, which targets poor and vulnerable individuals in communities. These targets include the sensitization of communities to identify the poor members among them to be registered in the SSR.
