Hi, I’m Umar, a Computer Science student at the University of Bath with a passion for AI and software development. I’ve worked on projects like training AI cars using genetic algorithms and neural networks, where I explored how parameter tuning impacts performance. I’m also building a C++ physics engine with OpenGL, which has been great experience in tackling complex systems in a team.Recently, I joined TBREai to work on perception systems, combining my interest in AI with my love for motorsports, especially F1. On top of that, I’ve joined Team Bath Hydrobotics for the MATE ROV competition, currently working on the controls and UI team, and will later transition to the AI team. I enjoy tackling complex problems, sharing what I learn, and staying curious.
