I began my career in the oilfield with Schlumberger (SLB) in 1989, holding various oilfield operations and management positions across Latin America, Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle East. From 2011 to 2016, I took on global business responsibilities at Calfrac Well Services. In 2016, I joined Vericor as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to be part of a significant technological revolution in hydraulic fracturing, compression, and mobile power generation. My expertise encompasses energy transformation, power generation applications and various areas of the Oil & Gas industry. This includes reservoir evaluation and engineering, drilling and stimulation services, integrated project and risk management, research and technology development, production optimization, and business management in embargoed and high-risk countries such as Cuba, Iran, Angola, and Nigeria, with a proven track record of generating profitable growth in the most challenging environments.Born in the Italian Alps in the South Tyrol region, I graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where I also specialized in Energy Engineering with a focus on solar applications, collaborating with the European Energy Center on the project: Management & Optimization of Passive Solar Plants. In 1988, I obtained my Italian Professional Engineer certification and began my professional oilfield career with Schlumberger in 1989. In 2000, I earned a Strategic Marketing Management certificate from Harvard Business School in Boston.I believe that the formula for success is a complex balance of simple elements: the right people, a deep understanding of value, a motivated and passionate team focused on the customer, strong business and personal ethics, efficient processes, best-in-class cost-effective technology, foresight, and a constant pursuit of turning challenges into opportunities, thereby differentiating from the competition.I enjoy professional environments that leverage technology, creativity, and teamwork to transform challenges into profitable ventures.
