As a Program Officer at COMSTECH (The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation), I have been managing and implementing a range of programs that aim to foster science, technology, and innovation (STI) within the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) member states for over a year. With a post-graduation in Environmental Sciences, I have a holistic understanding of environmental challenges and sustainable solutions, as well as a passion for driving positive change through the intersection of science, technology, and international collaboration.My portfolio of initiatives includes COMSTECH Awards, Inter Llibrary Network, Science Tech and Innovation (STI) profiles of member states, cataract surgery campaigns, intellectual property rights database, and cooperation programs with other OIC countries. These initiatives are designed to recognize and celebrate excellence, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and resources, provide valuable insights, contribute to healthcare access, foster innovation, and strengthen collaboration and knowledge-sharing. In addition to program management, I have a rich and diverse background that spans teaching, farming, data collection, and research. I am committed to creating platforms for meaningful dialogue and progress, and I welcome opportunities to connect and collaborate with other professionals and organizations in the field of STI.
