As project head of the HDFC KISAN FIRST PARIVARTAN PROJECT in Kashmir, my job is focusing on strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) under the CBBO ISAP INDIA Foundation, that involves promoting farmers' prosperity and bringing about positive change in the agricultural sector. FPOs play a crucial role in empowering farmers, improving their access to resources, providing market linkages, and enhancing their overall socio-economic conditions.As the head of this project, my responsibilities are strategizing and implementing initiatives to support and develop FPOs in Kashmir. This includes providing technical assistance, training programs, financial support, and facilitating collaborations with relevant stakeholders. By strengthening FPOs, our aim is to enhance farmers' incomes, ensure sustainable agricultural practices, and promote rural development in the region.By spearheading this initiative, our team is contributing to the overall well-being of farmers and the agricultural community in Kashmir, empowering them to become self-reliant, economically stable, and resilient in the face of challenges.
