I was responsible for• Supervising 7 grid maintenance teams, 3 Transmission line crews, 3 System Protection teams for 34 Grid Stations• Managing accounting unit comprising of two Accountants and Account assistants• Administration of 600+ personnel comprising of operations, System protection, maintenance, Line, clerical, security, and support staff.The maintenance staff was responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance of the Grid station, installation, and replacement of Grid equipment. The Transmission Line crew worked on preventive and corrective maintenance of transmission lines, including erecting Towers, replacing jumpers and discs, etc. The protection staff dealt with system protection day-to-day issues, installing relays, and implementing protection schemes. As Executive Engineer (Power Dispatch Center), I led a team of System Control Engineers carrying out real-time system operations on 125 Grid Stations.
