I'm Umer Iqbal, an accomplished design architect, healthcare design expert (FGI & iHFG Compliant) and project management professional. I graduated with distinction, securing 2nd position with Merit Certificate in my Bachelor's in Architecture in January 2012. To further enhance my skills, I pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Design in 2016 and a Master of Science in Project Management in 2023, securing Chancellor's Honor Roll Certificate.With 14 years of industry experience, I currently hold the position of Senior Architect at "MAVEN Projects LLP," an October Holdings Company. At MAVEN, I work with cross-disciplinary teams and oversee projects spanning Architecture, medical space planning, Engineering, and Project Management throughout the entire construction project lifecycle.Prior to my current role, I spent seven years at "Shifa Development Services Pvt. Ltd.," the healthcare Consultancy arm of Shifa International Hospitals, Islamabad. As Lead Medical Space Planner, I specialize in optimizing patient flows and health facility protocols through architectural design, in compliance with international health facility guidelines-iHFG & Facility Guidelines Institute-FGI.My career initial journey includes a four-year stint at "Salman Mansur & Associates," a prominent Design Consultancy firm in Islamabad. There, I contributed to diverse projects, including hospitality, mixed-use, residential, institutional, commercial, and turnkey projects.During my academic years, I gained valuable experience at prestigious organizations like NESPAK, Karachi, and Sohail A. Khan Associates (KINGCRETE Builders), Rawalpindi, as a Trainee. I am a Registered Architect with the "Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners (PCATP)" and an Associate member of the "Institute of Architects, Pakistan (IAP)."In recognition of my commitment to the field, I got elected & served as an Executive Committee Member (2019-21) at the Institute of Architects, Pakistan (Rawalpindi-Islamabad Chapter) and held office bearer positions as Hon. Treasurer and later as Hon. Secretary. I also played a role in organizing IAPEX' 2021 (Annual Building Materials Exhibition & Forum) as Convener, organized by the Institute of Architects Pakistan (Rawalpindi-Islamabad Chapter).I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of architectural innovation and project management excellence.
