Updating and Implementation of SOPs, safety level of spare parts for maintenance, checklists of equipment according to bulletins and service letters recommended by manufacturer.. Leading and Coordination with field staff and Wartsila field services during major overhaul for maintenance related problem solving and trouble shooting.. Check and fulfill HSE requirements in site.

Gul Ahmed Energy Limited, a 136.17 MW IPP Power Plant at Korangi Industrial Area of Karachi.Responsibilities:• Preparation of Plant Performance Charts regarding Generation and KPIs like SLOCs, SFCs, Capacity factor, Load Factor, Reliability, Availability, Utilization Index, Thermal Efficiency and Heat rate.• Maintain and check safety level of spare parts according to recommendations.• Defect lists preparation and planning for 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k and 36k hours Preventive Maintenance Schedule.• Preventive Maintenance and Inspection of all Equipments and Main Engines as per Maintenance Schedule and defect lists.• Inspection and Calibration of Cylinder Head Valves, Cylinder Liners, Bearings. Fuel Valves lapping and their pressure testing.• Endoscopic Inspection of Cylinder Liners.• Record and analyzing firing peak pressures of all Cylinders and the running parameters simultaneously.• Record Cylinder head tightness to estimate the condition of inlet and exhaust valves.• Vibration analysis of Main Engines, Turbochargers, Fuel & Lube Oil Purifiers.• Preparation of Daily & Monthly reports regarding breakdown history, Generation reports, Import energy and KPIs above all.• Investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of major auxiliary trips or abnormal behavior and deviations from optimal performance of Engines.• Liaison with other departments and plan minor & major shutdowns and all outages for most optimized down time and as per PPA.• Reviewing plant SOPs (Standard Operating procedures) according to service letters and updates recommended by WARTSILA Finland.• Updating and Implementation of Maintenance checklists of Auxiliary equipments as per manuals and service letters and Main Engines according to bulletins recommended by WARTSILA Finland.• Assisting & provide engineering expertise to GM Technical on various modifications and retrofitting in the plant for maximum plant output and efficiency.• Analysis of Lube Oil and cooling water reports on periodic basis.
