As Director (Co-Owner) & Chief Process Engineer managed & supervised the delivery of following projects comprising of Process, Instrument/Control, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines scope of work.- UniLever Pakistan Foods Ltd- Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of the plant Utilities (steam, compressed air, process Water, HVAC, ice Water, electrical) for upgradation/expansion of process/production areas: noodles , palm oil storage and distribution, dry mix products, mayonnaise, ketchup.- UniLever Pakistan Foods Ltd- HazOp Chairman/Facilitator for the hazard and operability study conducted for the plant utility systems: steam & condensate, compressed air, diesel, LPG, heavy fuel oil, natural gas.- UniLever Pakistan Foods Ltd- HazOp Chairman/Facilitator for the hazard and operability study conducted for the plant new biomass boiler circuits: combustion & flue gas, air preheating, feedwater, steam, blowdown, water scrubber circulation, instrument air.- UniLever Pakistan Foods Ltd- Engineering/Design and Procurement support for the generation and distribution of the plant Utilities (steam & condensate, compressed air, process Water) and palm oil storage/distribution for upgradation/expansion of noodle production area with 720 upm noodle machine.- Rudolf (Pakistan) Private Limited (subsidiary of Rudolf Group GmbH in Pakistan)- Process & Utilities design of new textile chemicals production facility.- Diamond Paint Industries (Pvt) Ltd- Engineering/Design and Procurement support for generation and distribution of Utilities, Storage & Distribution of solvents, oils, resins, chemicals to the water based and oil based paint production areas for new paint production facility.- Mari Petroleum Company Ltd- Engineering/Design, HazOP and Procurement support for retrofit of gas compressors for artificial gas lift of crude oil at Halini-X1 well (Karak block) ; adequacy check of existing processing facility was also carried out and gap analysis report was issued.

JGC-DESCON Pvt Limited (a joint venture between JGC-Japan & DESCON-Pakistan)Had the opportunity to work with different teams of process engineers as Process Lead Engineer for the following projects,1) Pak Arab Refinery – Biturox Asphalt Blowing Unit Project (Pakistan) based on the POERNER licensed process ; FEED by POERNER.2) RasGas - Barzan Onshore Project (Qatar) • Thermal rating/verification of heat exchangers (as per project specifications) and Data sheet preparation• Alarms set points / Alarm management rationalization/prioritization.3) Engro Chemicals Limited, Pakistan – EPC project for Removal of CO2 from flue gas based on Mitsubishi Heavy Industries licensed process. 4) Mari Gas Limited, Pakistan – Pre-FEED Concept Study and FEED for Well head surface facilities, Gas gathering network, Raw gas central processing facility for acid gas removal and hydrocarbon dew pointing / dehydration, Front End Compression, Utilities, for Zarghun Field (Pakistan).5) Engro Chemicals Limited, Pakistan – Basic engineering of Liquid Ammonia Storage and Refrigeration System , for the fertilizer manufacturing facility.6) DESCON Oxychem, Pakistan - EPC project comprising of, bottleneck study for a second hand/used Hydrogen production unit and basic process design of Utilities (raw water ; cooling water ; demineralized water ; fuel gas ; diesel ; steam ; nitrogen ; instrument air ; fire water network ; acid & caustic), for Hydrogen Peroxide Manufacturing Facility.The study comprised of simulation of hydrogen production plant ; exchangers rating ; adequacy check of compressors, pumps, fans, control valves.

1) Energy Conservation ProjectAs process engineer in technical services department and part of the energy conservation project team undertook the task to,• Integrate high pressure decomposition section and urea slurry pre-concentration section of urea plant via new exchanger for cost and energy saving• Integrate low pressure decomposition section and liquid ammonia pre-heating section of urea plant via new exchanger for cost and energy saving 2) Environment Improvement ProjectAs process engineer in technical services department and part of the environment improvement project team undertook the task to,• Design a network for collection of plant start-up and shutdown drainages (demineralised water containing ammonia) into a new storage tank (capacity : 360,000 gallons) for subsequent processing in hydrolyser / stripper unit to re-produce water of BFW grade• Re-vamp study of Hydroliser / Stripper unit for capacity enhancement, to produce BFW grade water from start-up and shutdown effluents of plant• Design a network to direct all ammonia service pressure safety valves discharges into a new vent stack (for venting at a safe height and location in case of emergency venting)3) Other Assignments• As process engineer in technical services was responsible for monitoring of critical parameters ; assistance of production personnel for optimized operation of plant ; small scale modifications for improving plant operational reliability and inherent safety• As Urea unit operations day engineer was directly responsible for safe and reliable operations of the process unit ; turnaround planning and co-ordination ; process hazard analysis (PHA) / hazard and operability review (HAZOP) of existing facility and proposed modifications ; yearly expense budget and investment plans ; plant management report for executive management• As internal quality auditor was responsible for conducting internal audits of various functions of the organization
