Leading the marketing team for SMME Piston Cup

SMME Piston Cup is a relatively a new event related to my field and hosted by my department and to make people know about it is the job of a Marketing Executive done in a way to make the 2nd edition greater than ever!

Welcoming incoming freshmen and coordinating and helping them in the registration process, while making sure they adjust comfortably in the university environment.

Managing 14 school and departments of university, both in undergrad and postgrad, in terms of both finances, planning and executing the event.

Reflecting on my younger self, who used to play with toy trains, I feel a profound sense of accomplishment.The Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory plays a crucial role in the country’s infrastructure, and through my internship, I was able to identify several strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our railway system. These improvements would not only benefit millions of daily commuters but also boost the logistics sector, providing a significant uplift to businesses and the overall economy.Working in a government-administered workshop, I also honed valuable skills in office management, official systems, and communication with government officials. This experience equipped me with a strong understanding of how large-scale operations are managed within a state-owned enterprise.Some of the key operations I mastered include advanced design (CAD), production techniques, fabrication processes, welding, machining, tooling, millwright work, woodworking, painting, furnishing, cutting, and forging. Each of these skills has deepened my appreciation for the complexity and precision required in railway manufacturing.Overall, this internship was a transformative experience that has fueled my passion for railway engineering even further.
