Grants Management Specialist
CurrentBureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Programs Office: State Policy Advisor. • Managing DOJ federal grant recipients under BJA’s Virtual Reality De-escalation Program, Intellectual Property Enforcement Program, Economic, High-Technology, White Collar, and Internet Crime Prevention Program, and NV Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance (JAG) grants. • Pulling and analyzing data using programs such as Data Management, Recording, and Analytics (DMRA), Grants Management System (GMS). and JustGrant System.• Effectively monitoring grant award receipts performance and financial requirements as per DOJ policy.• Ability to effectively communicate DOJ policy regarding use of federal funding.• Provide advice and guidance to resolve, implement, and/or manage program issues.• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support to federal grant award recipients. • Manage and lead a community of practice for all new hires in BJAs Program Office. • Highly rated in fiscal year 2024 and received special act service award. • Managed DOJ federal grant recipients under BJA’s STOP School Violence Program, Justice Reinvestment Initiative (JRI), Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance (JAG), Earmarks, and Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding programs for Northeast States.
