Extending and Maintaining Python Codebase for Structural Optimization:Responsible for the extension and maintenance of a Python codebase exceeding 10,000 lines, dedicated to solving complex structural optimization problems.Facilitating the Development of a Testing Framework Post-Migration:Played a key role in facilitating the development of a comprehensive testing framework. This framework was essential for rigorously testing an extensive number of scripts following the migration from Python 2 to Python 3.Utilizing and Extending a Framework for Thermal Simulation Data Analysis:Leveraged and extended an existing framework to support the analysis of thermal simulation data pertaining to automotive brake systems.

The focus of my work is to develop software plugins for a commercial Finite Element (FE) post-processor named Animator. For more than 20 years this post-processing tool is being developed by the company itself and is specialized for analyzing the car crash; and Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) problems. The software plugins are programmed in Python and aim to extend the existing functionalities of the software; which in turn aids in the automated post processing of the simulation results during the design phase of the vehicle.

The focus of my work was to develop an indigenous software tool in Python for the analysis of Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) problems. The project was a joint venture between the Chair of Applied Mechanics, TUM and the Hyundai Motor Company. The basic code architecture of the programmed Python tool was borrowed from the commercial MATLAB plugin named Vibes; however, the Python tool was further tailored to the specific needs of the project partners. During this project I worked in close collaboration with an industrial partner due to which I learnt the highly valuable skills of pressure management and customer satisfaction.

The focus of my work was to develop a cross-platform mobile application in Microsoft Xamarin. The project was a joint venture between an industrial partner and the Institute of Automation and Information Systems, TUM.The project aimed to store valve maintenance in a cross-platform mobile application. The user inputs to the application were in the form of text inputs, handwriting and speech input; whereas, Microsoft SQL Server was intended to be used as a data storage unit.

During my brief time here as an associate engineer, I was introduced to the concept of cross-functional training. I worked and supported the daily activities in the finance and administration departments for 3 months each to get a better understanding of the working mechanics of the non-engineering side of the business.

As a trainee mechanical engineer, I was deployed to the Pakistan's biggest natural gas field site at Daharki in the province of Sindh. My chief responsibilities here included maintenance of 100 km long gas pipeline network, corrosion protection of the pipelines, the well casing and tubings, maintenance of corrosion inhibitor pumps at the well sites, providing support during the well site drilling activities and civil maintenance of the roads and the well sites.
