1. Provide effective and timely engineering and technical services assessment of residential and commercial development applications.2. Act as Council’s Project Manager for the nominated land development projects to liaise with developers, consulting engineers (Superintendents) and civil contractors, for council related process such as pre-lodgement technical advice, engineering approval, bonding agreement, inspections. 3. Review the detailed engineering design of civil infrastructure for the land development such as roads, paths, traffic, stormwater, carparks, etc. and ensure the design meet council standards, Austroads and Australian Standards.4. Carry out hold point inspections during construction stage, Practical Completion Inspection post-construction & Final Completion Inspection at the end of Defect Liability period, to ensure quality standard of construction is met.5. Review as-constructed and Quality Assurance (QA) documentation of constructed civil assets before issuance of Practical Completion Certificate, to verify the quality of construction works delivered by civil contractors meet the design specifications.

1. Plan, manage and deliver council’s capital infrastructure projects across various asset classes (such as transport, sewer, stormwater, and buildings) within allocated budget and timeframe.2. Facilitate the procurement process for capital projects delivery, including developing & evaluating RFQ and tender documentations. 3. Carry out capitalization of expenditure on capital projects for all asset classes in Council's asset management system, including reconciliation in liaison with council's finance department.4. Assess civil engineering designs for land development applications, provide technical advice to developers & designers in accordance with council’s engineering standards, Australian Standards & Austroads. 5. Review asset condition data for identification and scoping of capital projects (Renewal, Upgrade & new construction) and maintenance hotspot programs.6. Coordinate updating of asset related data and attributes in Council's asset management system (Assetic). 7. Coordinate updating of asset spatial database in council’s Geographic Information System (MapInfo & SSA). 8. Carry out the role of a road manager to review and assess heavy vehicle permit applications through NHVR portal.9. Ensure continuous collection of traffic data and use Metrocount software to update the traffic data across Council’s various strategic roads.

1. Carried out inspection of stormwater assets within the Council’s existing drainage network, verifying and updating the spatial information and key asset attributes in QGIS & Technologyone onecouncil asset management system.2. Conducted condition assessments of the stormwater assets using CCTV camera and Wincan software to support the asset portfolio owner in identification and scoping of the drainage asset capital works and maintenance hotspot programs. 3. Liaised with the contractors to plan proactive & reactive maintenance works and attend Customer Request Maintenance to investigate, assess and address the drainage related customer requests and complaints.4. Updated and modified drainage asset information into Council’s Asset management and GIS system.

 Prepared detailed project implementation Plan, budget and logistics planning.  Coordinated with project partners, government stakeholders and donor organization. Monitored, evaluated and supervised water supply & sanitation construction works in the project areas.  Prepared documentation of the project activities (Weekly & Monthly project planning and progress reports) and reported to the donor and local level government authority.

 Carried out feasibility study, designed, monitored and supervised the construction of gravity flow rural water supply systems and sanitation infrastructures.  Facilitated in sanitation and hygiene promotion training in communities, schools and health facilities. Facilitated and liaised with Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) cluster organizations for effective coordination in earthquake emergency response along with compilation of 4W report. Supported partner organizations in project planning, budgeting, capacity building and documentation. Regularly monitored, evaluated and supervised project activities. Prepared weekly & monthly activity progress reports (APR), case studies, photo stories and reported to the line manager.
