Responsible for managing the countrywide Milk Manufacturing operations of the company. Milk and Milk Products are manufactured through five company owned and around thirty third party (3P) production Units at different locations in the country with an overall turnover of more than 45000 million rupees. Four million litres of raw milk per day is handled for manufacturing Liquid milk (Pouches, Bulk Vended, long shelf life), Milk powders, Butter, Cheese, Cultured products, Ice creams etc. Meeting the budgeted volume targets with highest product & manufacturing standards. Controlling costs & inventories and energy & water conservation. Establishing new manufacturing units to meet the requirement for the existing and new geographies.

Heading the Unit. Responsible for Production of Bulk Vended Milk (10,00,000 L/day) & Ice Cream (25 KL/day) and all other support services for the Unit. Conceived & commissoned a third party facility for 4,00,000 L/day Bulk Vended Milk at Sikandrabad, UP in 2010 to meet the addtional market demand. In April 2011, on retirement of GM (Milk Manuf.) took over the additional responsibility of managing the sourcing of 18,00,000 L/day of polypack milk from one own & nine third party plants, sourcing ice cream and other Dairy products from around ten plants, planning the all India sourcing for ice cream and other dairy products. Mid 2011 to mid 2012 discharged the additional responsibility of Unit Head of another Mother Dairy owned unit at Pilkhuwa, UP manufacturing polypack milk, cultured products including probiotics with a total volume of 6,00,000 L/day.

Became the Head of Ice Cream production in early 2001. The Ice Cream Department is a self contained Unit having its own services, engineering, stores, quality control and product development sections. The Commercial and Logistics section handling the dispatch & distribution of Ice Cream and other products to the market, was also reporting to me. Was also responsible for outsourcing of ice cream from third party plants (3P). Started two 3P units for launching ice cream in west and eastern India.

Joined Ice Cream Department in late 1995. Looking after Production, Quality control, Ulilities and Engineering sections. Reporting to the Head Ice Cream Department.

Joined Mother Dairy in 1977. After briefly working in the Bulk Vended Milk Production Department shifted to the newly formed Poly pack section producing 1,00,000 L/day which I was heading till 1987. From 1987 to 1995 I was responsible for conceiving and implementing various improvement & refurbishment projects at the main Bulk Vended Milk Plant, resulting in productivity enhancement, energy saving and import substitution.

Started career in 1976, looking after fabrication of dairy equipments and supporting project work with this Engineering Company manufacturing dairy equipments and installation of dairy plants on turn-key basis
