Working as Aerodynamic Performance and Senior CFD Engineer at Stellantis India.My key responsibilities are:1) Aerodynamic Performance of the car• To create a roadmap required for achieving the aerodynamic performance of the car with the help of the style design team and wind tunnel testing team.• Study the effect of style design change and add-on features on the aerodynamic performance of cars.• Present the simulation results to the style team and wind tunnel testing team, suggest and discuss design changes to optimize the drag force on cars.• Study the correlation between simulation and wind tunnel test results.2) Underhood thermal management• Independently execute vehicle underhood thermal simulation and analyze the temperature distribution for critical components in different driving conditions like maximum torque, gradient conditions and engine idle condition.• Heat exchanger modeled using dual and single-stream heat exchanger modeling techniques.• Identify critical components like electric harnesses, ECU units, sensors, battery and other plastic components and analyze temperature distribution on these surfaces.3) Front End Flow Analysis (Engine cooling)• Performance study for heat exchangers and evaluate the heat rejections for different vehicle speed and variable fan speed.• Study the effect of different designs of front grill fascia, size of heat exchange, fan position and speed and air guide.4) Cabin Analysis• Study on directional analysis for cabin flow and thermal analysis required for passenger comfort.• Heat loads from sunlight are applied to different parts of the car like windshield, side glass, roof and side panels.• Analyzed the effect of roof blower position and mass flow requirement.• Carried out defrost analysis and studied pressure drop in duct and flow distribution on windshield and side glass for de-icing requirement.

Post Graduation in Applied Mechanics, (specialization in Fluid Mechanics).Master Thesis:• Conjugate heat transfer Analysis for Jet Impingement on turbine blade, (curved plate) using Ansys Fluent.• Validated the results with an experiment set up built using series of thermocouples on the curved plate.• Experiments set up had infrared camera for visualization of temperature distribution on plate
